Posada stands on the slopes of a limestone hill at the summit of which is the keep known as "Casteddu de sa Fae" or Castle of the Fava. From here there is a fine view of the plain below, which is traversed by the Posada stream. Few ruins remain of the castle. The town's historic center, on the slopes of the hill, in which buildings with medieval structures are preserved, is remarkable.
