A trip to the historic centre of the village is recommended, where it is possible to admire the numerous nineteenth century buildings of notable artistic importance. From the inhabited centre, a straight stretch brings you to La Caletta, a tourist port with a 4 kilometre long sandy beach. The area is extremely varied and interesting from a natural point of view for its splendid beaches, its crystal-clear sea, the dunes of the coastal strip and for the abundance and the peculiarity of its flora and fauna, all of which happens in a sort of alternation between the mountains and the sea. Here we find Mount Albo, with its rugged landscapes and its paths and the wide beaches characterised by the presence of sandy dunes; the beaches of Capo Comino and Berchida are particularly famous, reachable after just a two-hour walk. Mount Albo is home to boars, foxes and martens and the Imperial Eagle, the peregrine falcon, goshawks and buzzards nest here. The vegetation is varied: junipers, lentisks, oleasters and higher up durmast and maple trees. There are plenty of caves, important from both a speleological but also an archaeological point of view since they were inhabited by man in the Prehistoric Age. Even though it is close to the sea, the territory of the commune of Siniscola may be defined, from a morphological point of view, as being mainly hilly. There are numerous plateaus and internal plains of alluvial or coastal origins, while enormous mountains loom in the north-western part of the territory. The main hydrographical basin in the commune of Siniscola is made up by the Rio Siniscola. Src: http://www.sardegnaturismo.it/offerta/cultura/cittaepaesi/paesi/siniscola.html
