The tomb has an almost completely intact and well preserved structure. The basalt blocks are finely sculpted and worked along the entire structure, forming a tomb body with a length of 15.20 meters arranged along the south-east north-west axis. The exedra, the area in front of the tomb in which presumably rituals related to the cult of the dead took place, has a width of 18 meters.
The burial has the classic form of a taurine protome (typical of the Sardinian prehistoric period) closed in a semicircle at the back. The rectangular burial chamber has a length of about 10 meters; on the left side there is a niche perhaps used to contain funeral and / or votive offerings. The roof is characterized by large flat granite slabs resting on the structure while the floor was strewn with river pebbles in which the dead were placed. Inside, ceramic fragments from the Middle Bronze Age and the Copper Age were found.
